For the year 2021, the Delhi Development Authority has launched 1175 new flats under the DDA housing scheme. These flats are generally for middle and high-income groups. The announcement for these flats will be made either at the end of December 2020 or at the starting of January 2021. Out of these 1175 new flats, 700 are for the middle-income group, 200 are for high-income proof, and 275 for the economically weaker section. These flats are located in South West Delhi’s Dwarka and south-east Delhi’s Jasola.
- Middle-income group flats will be in around 120 to 130 square feet area and its price will be around 1.2 crores.
- A high-income group flat will be around 150 to 170 square feet area and its price will be around 2 crore rupees.
- Middle-income group flat will be situated in 16b and 19B Dwarka and economically weaker section flat will be situated in Mughal Puri.

DDA Housing Scheme 1210 Flats Bookings
On 23rd December 2020, a meeting was conducted with Delhi’s lieutenant governor Anil Baijal. In this meeting, the Delhi Development Authority has confirmed to launch the DDA housing scheme 2021. This scheme was previously going to be launched in January 2021 but now it has been decided that it will be launched in March 2021. Under DDA housing scheme 2021, 1210 flats will be available for sale. Under the DDA housing scheme flats will offer to all sections of society like higher income groups, economically weaker sections, and middle-income groups. There will be around 230 high-income group flats, 704 middle-income group flats, and 276 for low-income groups. These flats will be located in Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Dwarka, and Mughal Puri.

The objective of DDA Housing Scheme
The main objective of the DDA Housing Scheme is to provide houses to all the people who are unable to buy houses due to their financial condition. DDA Housing Scheme New Update
For booking a flat at the location of your choice you are required to pay an additional fee under the DDA housing scheme. These additional fees will be determined on the basis of flat floor, corner location, green area, etc. The amount of these fees has not been decided by DDA till now. PWD are not required to pay any extra fees to book the flat location of their choice. People living in slums are being given houses under the in-situ project in Delhi. Eligibility for DDA Housing Scheme 2021
- Applicant should be 18 years old
- The applicant must not own any residential flat or plot in the urban area of Delhi, New Delhi or Delhi Cantonment, in his/her own name or in the name of his/her spouse or his/her dependent relations, including unmarried children which is larger than 67 sq meters.
